Boronia Hawks FNC is absolutely delighted to welcome Mason Storr back to the senior team after injury delayed his start to the season.

In fact, this will be Mayo’s first senior game for the Hawka since his debut season in 2019 while playing Under 17’s. Please wish him all the best! Thanks to Player Sponsor Allstate Refrigeration Services. #boroniahawks #backtoboronia
McDonalds Boronia is a huge supporter of our club as a Platinum Sponsor! Yesterday, three of the players sponsored by McDonalds popped in to present Sponsorship Packs to James Dowling, the new store manager at Boronia. Thanks to Jordan Church, Daniel Houeix and Luke Hannon for doing the honours, while Mads Mauchline couldn’t make it.

Boronia Hawks Football Netball Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Danny Fotinatos as our new Men’s Development Coach for the 2026 season.

Danny joins the Club from the Whitehorse Pioneers Football Club, where he has captained their Development Team for the past four seasons. During his time at Whitehorse, Danny established himself as a respected leader, known for his professionalism, composure, and ability to inspire those around him.
Danny brings with him fresh perspectives and valuable insights from a club that has been on the rise in recent years. His leadership experience and deep understanding of the game will make him an outstanding addition to our Men’s coaching group.
Throughout the recruitment process, Danny impressed with his emphasis on developing strong relationships with players. He has a proven record of leading teams in a way that balances high performance with personal growth, and he understands the importance of fostering a positive, accountable, and connected team culture.
Danny’s coaching philosophy is grounded in setting clear standards, building accountability, and uniting players around a shared vision for success. He values clear, consistent, and respectful communication, ensuring that players understand their roles, receive constructive feedback, and feel confident to ask questions.
His adaptable communication style — whether working with players, fellow coaches, parents, or community members — enables him to build trust and rapport across all levels of the club.
The Boronia Hawks FNC is excited to welcome Danny and his partner Steph to the Hawka Nest and we look forward to the energy, leadership, and passion he will bring to our club.
We’re confident that Danny will play an integral role in continuing to strengthen our Men’s football program and in shaping the next generation of Hawks.
Welcome to the Hawks, Danny!

Round 12 marks a special moment for Max Collins and the entire Boronia Hawks community as he makes his senior debut for the club.
Max is the current Under 19s Captain, a leader who has progressed through our junior ranks. In 2023, he was recognised across the league when he claimed the EFNL Under 17.5 league Best and Fairest, a reflection of just how influential he’s been on the field. The Collins name is one of the biggest at Boronia. Max continues a proud family legacy and tomorrow he’ll run out alongside his brother Jayden Collins, a three-time senior premiership player. Congratulations Max. We’re all behind you.
Congratulations to Luke Hannon who plays his 100th game of senior football for the Hawka in this weekend’s semi-final.

A former Eastern Ranges premiership player, captain and best and fairest winner, Luke has also had a similar impact at Boronia.
A senior premiership player in 2018, a two time Bob Henry Medalist and current vice captain and assistant coach, his impact has been profound!
Well done Luke and all the very best in your next 100 games for our club!
Tonight Robbo & Luke Hannon worked with AFL Goal Umpires at Marvel Stadium, assisting with kicking for goal and participating in game simulation drills while the umps got in their own practice.
Phil Watson “The umps and their coach were really appreciative of their time and effort and will have them back again! They were awesome and had a great time”
