Boronia Hawks Men’s playing groups have officially locked in their Leadership Groups for the season ahead. Chosen by their teammates, these leaders represent what the club is all about—commitment, accountability, and leading by example both on and off the field.
This isn’t just about wearing a title, it’s about setting the standard every training session, every game, and every moment in between. Strong leaders. Strong culture. Bring on 2026.

When we talk about “loyal support,” we’re talking about Steve Shillington and McDonald’s Boronia. Steve’s dedication to the Hawks spans our entire club—from Auskick and Juniors to our Senior programs. The impact of this partnership is everywhere you look:
On the Field: Goal Sponsor on the Tormore Scoreboard. Off the Field: Featured sponsor of our apparel range. Sponsor of our Membership Cards. Community: A huge supporter of our Annual Golf Day. Coffee Vouchers for our hardworking volunteers and senior players. Award Vouchers for our Auskickers and Junior stars.
Club Nights: Host of four club nights at McDonald’s Boronia.
Member Perks: All club members receive a 10% discount when dining in-house at the Boronia McDonald’s restaurant!
Please show your appreciation by visiting Steve’s stores in Boronia, Rowville, Croydon, Tecoma, and Glen Waverley.
Thank you, Steve, for being a true champion of the Brown & Gold!
Boronia Hawks are incredibly excited to announce that Ritchies IGA + Liquor in Ringwood East is returning as a Gold Sponsor for 2026!
A massive thank you to Peter Nelsson and the entire team for their fantastic support. Ritchies is the official liquor supplier for the Hawks, and they do an incredible job of keeping our bar well-stocked and our members refreshed.
Support the Team That Supports Us
Next time you are enjoying your favorite beverage at the club, join us in thanking Ritchies! Better yet, make sure you return the favor by heading down to their Ringwood East store for all your grocery and liquor needs.
Visit them at: 82-94 Railway Avenue, Ringwood East.
Whether it’s a full weekly shop or just picking up a few essentials, your support of Ritchies helps them continue to support us. Cheers to a great 2026 season together!
Huge thanks and congrats to Michael and Zac Papworth, the ultimate father-son coaching duo, taking the helm of U10s in 2026!
Michael’s a seasoned coach and veteran of the game, while Zac’s our very own goal-kicking machine who was part of the 2025 U14 Interleague squad and trained with U16 Eastern Ranges earlier this year.
Well done Papworths, the U10s are in for a great season!
Boronia Hawks Football Netball Club is very proud to once again be supported by long term partner and Gold Sponsor, KRISTAN and CAROLYN WOOD and ALL STATE REFRIGERATION SERVICES.
There is no more loyal Hawka than Woody and his successful business has backed the Club for many years. Allstate Refrigeration Services supplies, maintains, and repairs supermarket refrigeration and commercial air conditioning systems.
Everyone at Boronia Hawks can be incredibly proud of our four players selected in the Eastern Ranges Coates Talent League Squads for 2026. Congratulations to Cayden Wood, Harry Chapman, Myles Reynders and April Dye!
Commiserations to those Hawks who have not been named, but we know that call ups occur throughout the season. The campaign kicks off today with practice matches, so keep an eye out for our young stars as the season progresses!
We couldn’t be more excited to announce that Indiana Makai has signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.
Indi joins us from Warragul Industrials in the MPFNL, after also spending three years with Casey Demons in the VFLW. Indi was also part of the Gippsland Power talent pathway and represented Vic Country at the National U18 Championships. After missing the 2025 season through injury, we’re excited to see Indi back on field, and in brown and gold this season.
