BORONIA HAWKS FOOTBALL NETBALL CLUB INC.
Senior Men's & Women's Football and Netball, Junior Boys & Girls Football, Auskick and over 35's Veterans and Masters Football. Affiliated with EFNL. We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land in Boronia.

Since joining the club in 2023, Begs has been a game changer a two-time premiership player, leading goalkicker, EFNL Team of the Year member, and a key figure in our rise to Division 1. But it’s not just what he does on the field. Josh has played a big role off it this season, stepping up as a mentor and helping coach our Under 19s. His leadership, professionalism, and support for our young players has been outstanding. Josh’s care for the club and this group has been clear from day one and his commitment to two more years is a reflection of the belief he has in where we’re heading. We couldn’t be more excited to have him locked in as we take on the next chapter together.
Josh is proudly sponsored by Begley Manton Manton
Round 13 marks a special moment for the Boronia Hawks as three exciting young talents make their senior debuts.

Darcy Jamieson
Darcy has speed to burn and has been in consistent form for Eastern Ranges, highlighted by a standout 3-goal performance in Round 13. A classy mover with real composure, he’s earned this opportunity and we can’t wait to see him light it up at senior level.

Myles Reynders
A versatile and athletic tall, Myles has impressed all season. He kicked 5 goals in his first U19s game while filling in from the 17s and has spent the past three weeks with Eastern Ranges, where he’s played as a backup ruck and forward. He brings energy, effort, every time he steps on the park.

Harry Chapman
A proud product of a former Hawk, Harry is the son of former player Nathan Chapman and nephew of Kane Van Hennik – but he’s forged his own reputation through hard work and talent. He’s played every game this season for Eastern Ranges as a bottom-age player, showing consistency.

We’re incredibly proud to see all three boys pull on the brown & gold for the first time.
Round 12 marks a special moment for Max Collins and the entire Boronia Hawks community as he makes his senior debut for the club.
Max is the current Under 19s Captain, a leader who has progressed through our junior ranks. In 2023, he was recognised across the league when he claimed the EFNL Under 17.5 league Best and Fairest, a reflection of just how influential he’s been on the field. The Collins name is one of the biggest at Boronia. Max continues a proud family legacy and tomorrow he’ll run out alongside his brother Jayden Collins, a three-time senior premiership player. Congratulations Max. We’re all behind you.
Boronia Hawks FNC is very excited to announce that HARRY CHAPMAN will be joining our Under 19’s team for 2025. Harry has a great Boronia pedigree as the son of Nathan Chapman and the nephew of Kane Van Hennik.

Harry has already shown some great form playing with Eastern Ranges Under 16’s and was invited to the Vic Metro trials. He is training again with Ranges and already has a club B&F to his name, along with a top 5 finish in the league B&F. We are very proud of our many father-son players and are now very pleased to welcome Harry and family “Back to Boronia”. We look forward to seeing Harry in the club colours for many years to come.
Boronia Hawks are very pleased to confirm the appointment of our five assistant coaches for the Men’s Under 19’s Team for 2022.
Please join us all in congratulating these coaches who will be supporting Pierre Schumann and providing a great development environment for our emerging players.

We are also delighted to announce that Pierre will be joined by senior players Ben Robertson and Sean Young as Assistant Coaches. Robbo has been involved with the Under 19’s for several years while Youngy joins the panel in his first year at Boronia. We expect a couple more announcements in the very near future.
Pierre is a former junior and senior premiership player of our Club and brings with him a wealth of coaching experience to our Under 19 player cohort. I was fortunate to have Pierre as my development coach in a ‘previous life’ at another club and I can guarantee you our players will get a passionate, caring, and knowledgeable coach who drives high standards and behaviours that mirror the culture and values of our senior club.
Pierre’s record as a local coach in relation to premiership success is second to none. Having coached 6 teams to premierships, Pierre has an intricate understanding on what is required to create sustained team success.
Shoey, it is fantastic to have you back at ‘The Hawka’ and we look forward to watching you prepare and develop our senior players of the future!
