Boronia Hawks have entered in to a great new partnership with our long-time bankers at Community Bank Wantirna, associated with Bendigo Bank. As part of this partnership, we are very proud that the Bank will be the jumper sponsors for our two Women’s Teams in 2021.

Community-Bank-Wantirna-Oct-NewsletterBoronia Hawks appreciates the generous support from Knox City Council and Cr Peter Lockwood during the Covid-19 pandemic. We have just received a $1,000 contribution to assist with our facility operating costs as part of Council’s COVID-19 Community and Business Support Package.
The Council has already waived all tenancy fees for the use of the facilities at Tormore and Millers, but we still have ongoing costs for our electricity and gas connections. This funding will assist the Club to manage our costs and remain in a sound financial position going in to 2021.

Last night the Boronia Veterans commenced their pre-season training for the up and coming 2020 season.
They were in for a treat, as having trained for years with hand me down footballs, which often resembled basketballs, this season they will now be kicking around brand new Sherrins thanks to Ozito Industries.
With the donation of some great power tools, a few of the boys were able to raise some much needed cash to fund the purchase of these balls.
A big thank you to Ozito Industries for their ongoing support to Boronia Hawks Football Netball Club.
