Luke joined the club in 2017 after an outstanding junior career in both football and basketball. A former Eastern Ranges premiership player, captain and B&F winner, Luke has also had a similar impact at Boronia. A senior premiership player in 2018 and 2023; twice Bob Henry Medalist; and current vice captain and assistant coach. That’s a huge CV for a great player and club person.

Boronia Hawks are very pleased to announce that following the announcement in August that Matt Clark has signed as Senior Coach for 2024, the full coaching panel for the men’s senior team has also recommitted for the coming season. We are grateful to have this strong group of experienced coaches who are able to develop the team as both people and as players. BHFNC is excited to announce that both Luke & Josh Hannon, have re-signed for the 2024 season.
Luke Hannon played in the 2018 senior premiership is a dual Bob Henry Medalist, a senior assistant coach, and a classic utility player.
Josh Hannon played in the 2018 premiership and is having a break out year in 2023 as the dominant ruck of the competition who has rarely beaten all season!

Boronia Hawks are very pleased to announce that LUKE HANNON has been appointed as Playing Assistant Coach for the 2023 season.
This is Luke’s first step in to coaching ranks, following in the footsteps of his father, Greg Hannon, who is a former senior coach of Boronia. Luke has had an outstanding playing career and will bring that to the table as a proven on-field leader. His CV speaks for itself.
