The Club’s Board of Directors got together on Sunday morning to develop our strategic action plan as we move towards the resumption of competition in 2021.
There was lots of ideas as we went through many important initiatives including junior development, child safety regulations, facilities plans for Tormore & Millers, memberships, website upgrade, merchandising, events and budgets!
Great work team! Thanks to the Knox Club for hosting us for the day.
Today marks the beginning of 16 days of activism against gender-based violence (25th Nov – 10th Dec).
The 2020 theme of “Orange the World: Fund, Respond, Prevent, Collect!” references orange being a bright and optimistic colour, representing a future free from violence against women and girls.
BHFNC supports this initiative and its goal to eliminate violence whenever and wherever it occurs.
What can you do?

BHFNC wishes to pass on its sincere condolences to the Holding family on the sudden passing of Louise.
Louise is the mother of former players Steve ( who sadly passed away last year ) and premiership player Michael ( Plugga ). She was also the wife of Barry who was our senior treasurer for many years.
For the past 35 years, Louise has sat in the car on the far wing and watched hundreds and hundreds of matches, cheering on her Hawks! She loved watching her two boys play footy and she continued watching long after their retirements.
We hope Barry and Plugga and extended families are doing okay during this difficult time.
RIP Louise.
