NETBALL SEMI FINAL

Commiserations to Boronia Hawks who ran into a very strong Vermont in Friday’s semi final.

Congratulations for making finals, we hope you all had an enjoyable season. A big thank you to Alisha Clark, our netball manager for getting two teams up and running at short notice. Thanks to all players in both teams and to all their supporters. See you all soon for the Winter season!

WELCOME TO BORONIA | LIAM WHELAN

Boronia Hawks Football Netball Club is very pleased to announce the signing of LIAM WHELAN.

Liam comes to Boronia with an impressive football CV to match his 194cm frame. He is well familiar with the EFNL after spending his junior career at East Ringwood, before spending a year in the VAFA with Aquinas. This lead to Liam playing in the Big V for the VAFA on a tour of Ireland. He spent a year with North Melbourne VFL before moving on to Coburg’s VFL list for 4 years. After spending the footy off-season as a “Fly In – Fly Out” player in the NTFL with Darwin Buffalos he played 2023 in the strong Central Murray Football League with Tyntynder.

Boronia Hawks are delighted to have Liam and his family join the club, so please make Liam feel very welcome at his new home.
