ANZAC CEREMONY | TORMORE RESERVE

Today we saw our youngest footballers sharing the stage with our senior men’s team to commemorate the ANZAC Round. BY SAMANTHA DUNKINSON

” A match day experience that started with the traditional AFL ANZAC ceremony with the seniors. Followed by the first quarter huddle and coach address. Then an anxious and exciting wait to play in a half time grid match. Our fresh faced junior footballers led by our senior players were so still and respectful. Then they cheered their player on until it was time to play. And play they did. What an amazing day for all who were part of this amazing experience”.

“Thankyou to the senior coaching staff and players for making our up and coming future Hawks feel the love and support of our amazing “one club”. Thanks also to all the parent helpers today. So good !!!!!!”
