HAWKA CLUB LEGEND UPDATE | BROCKY

Posted on by

The much-loved Craig “Brocky” Brockley may have had a bit of heart maintenance recently, but don’t let that fool you — the old bloke is already back plotting his next move.

Not only is he on the road to a full recovery, he’s already locked himself in as Team Manager for our Men’s Development Squad in 2026. That’s right… fresh out of surgery and keen to get back into the thick of it.

All the best, Brocky — wishing you a slow, steady, and very un-Brocky recovery.

ASSOCIATE SPONSOR | BRIGHTON GAS COMPANY

A big thank you to CRAIG BROCKLEY and BRIGHTON GAS COMPANY for their loyal partnership with the Hawks over several seasons.

Brocky would have to rate as one of our best recruits for many years. As coach of the Development Squad he just got the job done, winning a couple of flags along the way; but also playing a great role in developing players. An outstanding bloke and a generous supporter of the club in many ways.

2024 COACHING APPOINTMENTS | BOLTON, BROCKLEY and CATLEY

Boronia Hawks are very excited to announce that the full coaching panel for the men’s senior teams is now complete with the appointment of Jess Bolton as Men’s Development Squad Coach for 2024.

Jess is without doubt one of our finest and most decorated players over the past twenty years. He will bring a very strong game sense and enormous experience to the role as a playing coach.

Bolts will be joined by two great Hawks in their own right – Brocky and Cats.

Please join us all in thanking Jess Bolton, Craig Brockley and Andrew Catley for their loyalty and commitment to the Hawks.

PREMIERSHIP CUPS ON TOUR | Brighton Gas

Craig Brockley! What more can we say about this great man that hasn’t already been said! A two-time premiership coach, a mentor to all players and just a ripping bloke!

Craig owns and operates Brighton Gas who has been sponsoring our club since 2018. Although you see the Brighton Gas logo on our merch and around the club, there is a lot more to Craig’s sponsorship that people don’t see.

Thanks Brocky for your generosity and commitment to the club over the past 6 years! Can’t wait to see you on the other side of the fence watching games next year.

Brock is back for 2023.

Like Matt Clark, Brock has earned the absolute respect of all players and supporters in the club and we are very fortunate to have coaches of this calibre leading our teams. Please join us all in thanking Craig and congratulating him on his reappointment.
