Sean Bramstedt aka Bramma will take the field for his 100th game for Boronia Hawks on Saturday.

Known as a crafty forward, he has booted 186 goals in brown and gold. With 117 games at East Burwood and 11 colts games at Forest Hill, he can expect to play Boronia Vets for another 20 odd years and many more goals! Great work Sean – we love your footy!
Congratulations to Jon Wade on senior selection this week after playing well each week in the 19’s. Jon joined us after two strong seasons with Waverley Blues, earning multiple Team of the Week selections and continuing to impress at a high level while still being U19 eligible.

In 2025, Jon was part of the Oakleigh Chargers program, further developing through the elite pathway. His junior career includes multiple B&F’s, along with a Runner-Up League Best and Fairest in U16A. Get along on Saturday and wish him well! Thank to Repurpose It for supporting our Under 19’s team.
McDonalds Boronia is a huge supporter of our club as a Platinum Sponsor! Yesterday, three of the players sponsored by McDonalds popped in to present Sponsorship Packs to James Dowling, the new store manager at Boronia. Thanks to Jordan Church, Daniel Houeix and Luke Hannon for doing the honours, while Mads Mauchline couldn’t make it.

Harrison Kimmitt dons the Brown and Gold for the first time tomorrow versus Norwood over at Mullum Mullum Reserve.

A player known for his silky skills, leadership, and drive to keep improving, Harrison is eager to learn, grow and take his game to the next level.
He also continues a proud family connection as the son of former Hawks great and life member Robert “Bomma” Kimmitt.
Good luck tomorrow Kimmo, everyone is super excited to see you get amongst it. ![]()
We are very sorry to confirm that Corey Burgess sustained an ACL injury during our recent game against Beaconsfield. Corey will require surgery and a significant period of rehabilitation.

It’s a incredibly tough blow for Corey, who has faced a wretched run of serious injuries over the past seasons. Despite his resilience, these setbacks have restricted him to just 50 games since our historic triple-premiership year in 2018.
Corey is a warrior on and off the field, and we know he’ll tackle this recovery with the same determination he shows in every contest.
Please join us in wishing Corey all the very best for his surgery and a smooth recovery. We’re all behind you Corey.
The Club is very sorry to report that Brayden Murrihy underwent surgery yesterday for a knee reconstruction. He injured his knee just before Easter and unfortunately will now be out for the season.

It is terrible to put in a big preseason and then not even make it to Round 1. We know Brayden will do all the right things for a full recovery so we hope to see him back as good as new in early 2027. Thank you to Brayden’s player sponsor Upwell Health Collective.
Congratulations and well played to these three blokes who all made an impact in their debuts in the Development Squads big win on Saturday at Tormore.

Tom ‘Cyborg’ Borg, chipped in with 2 goals, Riley Williams was solid all day and Jack ‘JK’ Kahsnitz also jagged a goal.
We look forward to many more games in the brown and gold into the future boys.
