Thank you to BRANDEN BUTLER and EVENT COMMUNICATION SOLUTIONS for Player Sponsorship of EMILY CAHILL and DAMON FAIRCHILD for the 2024 season.
Both Emily and Damon are coming off premierships in 2023, a great double. Damon went one better by winning the Blue Ribbon Medal for Best on Ground in the Grand Final. Two terrific players for the club who will be even better in 2024.
Please join us all in congratulating Damon Fairchild on reaching the milestone of 100 Games for the Hawks. Damon was blooded in reserves footy in 2015 as a 17 year old and was BOG WITH 4 goals in his senior debut in Round 1 2016. He was instrumental in the 2023 Grand Final victory and will play great footy for Boronia for many years to come.
Please join us all in congratulating Jacqui Phillips on reaching the milestone of 50 Games for the Hawks. Jacqui started with the Women’s Squad in 2019, and also played Netball for the club. She is currently playing Development and Masters Football and will play many more games this season. GO JAX!!!
We have the double with both Senior Men and Women in 2023! Boronia 15.8 98 d Heathmont 9.12 66 by 32 points after an outstanding second half.
Goal Kickers: Ben Robertson 4, Josh Begley 3, Luke Hannon 2, Kieran Edwards 2, Damon Fairchild 2, Mitch Jelo 1.
BHFNC is excited to announce that Damon Fairchild and Jayden Collins have both re-signed for the 2024 season.
Damon Fairchild is a 2018 senior premiership player and has rarely been out of our best players in season 2023. As a classic utility player who is dependable and consistent; he adds class to any Hawka lineup!
Jayden Collins, also a 2018 senior premiership player, is a former Bob Henry Medalist and top-class Centre Half Back of the competition who is rarely if ever beaten by a big forward.
