Massive congrats to Zac Papworth on scoring a spot in the U15 EFNL Interleague final squad!
Well done to all club members who took part in trials, and a special mention to Ellie Wallis who had to pull out, we’re confident you would’ve smashed the final trials. Game details incoming once they’re confirmed. Top work Zac, we’re beyond proud!

Congratulations from everyone at Boronia Hawks to Abbey Lardner, from the Under 12 Girls on reaching her 50th Game, and to Kate Bourke from the Under 18 Girls, on her 100th game! Kate was a 2023 EFNL Interleague representative, snagging a BOG for game 1, and has racked up 49 career goals.
Boronia Hawks Football Netball Club is excited to announce the senior debut of CAYDEN WOOD. A true one-club player, Cayden has played over 130 junior games in the brown and gold and has put together one of the most decorated junior careers seen at the Hawks. His achievements include 3× EFNL League Best & Fairest awards (2021–2023) and an incredible 5× Boronia Club Best & Fairest, along with representative honours at EFNL Interleague and is currently a member of the Eastern Ranges.
A well deserved opportunity and with the Wood name back out at Tormore, make sure you get down early to watch Woody (try not to) get too emotional pre-game.
We’re also very proud to celebrate five young guns making their Senior debuts — Emily, Charity, Jasmine, Maddie, and Shayla.
All five girls have graduated through our Junior Pathway program, and now take the next step pulling on the senior jumper. A fantastic achievement and a great sign for the future of the Boronia Hawks.
Congratulations girls — enjoy the moment and we can’t wait to see you out there!
We are on the lookout for girls to join our Under 12s through to Under 18s football teams!Whether you’re brand new to footy or already love the game, this is your chance to build confidence, make great friends, and be part of something special in 2026.
Huge Congratulations to Campbell Butler on making the 2026 Oakleigh Chargers Under 16 squad.
Campbell has quite the football resume having represented the EFNL in U14 & U15 Interleague and is the recipient of a massive 5 Best & Fairest trophies. The young bloke has had a huge pre season and has also done a few sessions with our Senior Men.
Well done on your achievement and the hard work you continue to put into your footy. Go well Campbell!
Huge thanks and congrats to Michael and Zac Papworth, the ultimate father-son coaching duo, taking the helm of U10s in 2026!
Michael’s a seasoned coach and veteran of the game, while Zac’s our very own goal-kicking machine who was part of the 2025 U14 Interleague squad and trained with U16 Eastern Ranges earlier this year.
Well done Papworths, the U10s are in for a great season!
