Welcome to Boronia for the 2026 season, James Burgoyne!

James joins us from Ferntree Gully, where he’s built a reputation as a strong, reliable key defender. Since arriving at Boronia, he’s already made an impression with his work ethic on the track and his commitment to getting better. We’re looking forward to seeing “Silk” pull on the brown and gold and make his mark in 2026.
We couldn’t be more excited to announce that Mads Mauchline has re-signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.

Mads made a huge impact in their first year at the club playing across Development and Senior sides. A smart, physical, rebounding defender who reads the play well, Mads has very quickly become a huge part of our program taking home the player-voted Spirit of the Hawk Award last season. We are excited to see Mads back in brown and gold next season playing, and also coaching amongst our junior program.
We couldn’t be more excited to announce Jemima Fulton has signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.

Jemima joins us after finishing top four in the U18A goal kicking last season, finishing with 20 for the year as part of Blackburn’s premiership winning team. Jemima has previously represented Oakleigh Chargers at U16 level and we’re excited to see her step up in her first year of senior football. We look forward to having Jemima and her family in brown and gold this year and beyond.
Boronia Hawks Football Netball Club is excited to welcome Xavier Lane to the club from the Yackandandah Football Club.

At just 19 years of age, Xavier arrives as a bright young prospect with strong credentials. In 2023, he capped off an outstanding season by winning Yackandandah’s Under 17 Best and Fairest, while also finishing runner-up in the League Under 17 Best and Fairest. Over the past two seasons, Xavier has gained valuable experience playing across both the Senior and Reserves levels, demonstrating his development, competitiveness, and readiness to take the next step in his football journey. Known for his work rate, consistency, and team-first attitude, he brings both talent and maturity beyond his years.
We’re thrilled to have Xavier join the Boronia Hawks and look forward to watching him continue to grow and make his mark in the brown and gold. Welcome to the Hawka, Xavier! ![]()

We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce Zoe Wright has signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.

Zoe has had an accomplished junior career, amassing over 150 games, SMJFL interleague representative, Oakleigh Chargers U16s program and St. Kilda Next Generation Academy. Zoe is coming off back-to-back club Best & Fairests, can play key position or around the ground, and is a very exciting prospect for the future. We’re excited to see Zoe and the Wright family in brown and gold this year!
We couldn’t be more excited to announce Ella Dempster has signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.

Ella has made a huge impact already on the track, impressing with her skills, strong overhead marking and ability to connect with her new teammates. After previously spending time with Casey in the VFLW and Dandenong Stingrays, Ella has balanced football and basketball commitments over the past few years. We can’t wait to see Ella in brown and gold this season!
We’re thrilled to announce that Maddy Stark has signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.

Maddy is coming off a huge 2025, where she made the EFNL Team of the Year and shared her club Best & Fairest Award. Starky is an athletic forward who knows how to find the goals, kicking 64 majors over the past three seasons, and taking out the Division 3 goal kicking award last year.
We’re excited to watch Maddy roam the wide open space of Tormore in brown and gold this year, and beyond.
We’re thrilled to announce that Tom Gasparroni has recommitted to Boronia Hawks for the 2026 Season.

After an injury interrupted first half of 2025, Tom showed exactly what he’s capable of once he got going, especially in our Final, where he was one of our best players on the day. His impact, work rate and competitiveness gave us a real lift when it mattered most.
Tom is now injury free and tearing up the track and we can’t wait to see what he delivers with a full, uninterrupted pre season behind him.
We’re excited to announce that Abbey Broughan has signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.

Abbey is a key forward with a strong contested mark and has a long history of making life difficult for opposition defenders. Boasting a career tally of 132 goals from 84 games, Abbey led the goalkicking in Division 3 last season with 31, and has been recognised in the EFNL Team of the Year in 2021, and 2024 and 2025.
We can’t wait to see Abbey in brown and gold next season and beyond!
