We couldn’t be more excited to announce Jenna Basse has re-signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.
Jenna has made a huge impact in her two seasons with the club both on and off the field. On field she is one of our most dynamic and skilled forwards, known for big marks and iconic left foot snaps. Since joining us, Jenna has gone at a little over a goal and game, with her 15 goals in 2025 placing her in the top ten goalkickers in Premier Division. We’re excited for plenty more from Jenna in brown and gold next season.
Luke Flanagan has recommitted to the Hawks for 2026!
A 2× senior premiership player and 50 game Hawk, Luke is a silky smooth mover who has taken his game to another level in 2025 by stepping up onto a wing. His ball use, running ability, and composure make him a valuable part of the brown and gold. Great to have you locked in, Luke!
We’re excited to announce that Will Jones has recommitted to the Hawks for season 2026!
After making his senior debut in 2025 and quickly showing he belongs, Will has cemented himself as a key future cog. He’s one to watch develop in the brown and gold for years to come.
We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that Crystal Chinn has re-signed for the 2026 season.
Chinny has been one of our most consistent squad members and continues to find ways to develop her game. Chinny split her time across both teams this season and was amongst our most impactful players in the Development side this year. The 2023 premiership player brought up her 50th club game this season, and we can’t wait to see Chinny add to this tally in 2026!
We’re proud to announce that Fletcher “Fletch” Duke has recommitted to the Hawks for the 2026 season!
A 2× senior premiership player, Fletch also captained our 2018 Under-19s premiership side where he won the Most Consistent Player award. In 2025, Fletch showed he can play at both ends of the ground, standing tall at CHF in big games while continuing to be a rock in defence when needed. A strong and mobile tall fletch is a key pillar in the brown and gold.
We couldn’t be more excited to announce that Shae Denny has re-signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.
Shae joined us this year and had an immediate impact on and off the field. Rarely loses 1 on 1, and one of the most impactful defenders in Premier Division, Shae is at her best intercepting play across half back. A positive, encouraging and determined squad member we can’t wait for a big 2026 season from Shae in brown and gold!
Huge congratulations to David Murrihy and an awesome team of Wayno, Flash, Grant, Neil, Reddars, Billy, Geoff, John, Johnny, Ellen and the canteen team, our senior women, the Hawks Nest Coterie and the “always put your hand up regulars” for running an amazing Juniors Grand Final Day at Millers. Some even missed seeing their own kids playing finals for the good of the club. Special thanks to Kerri and Kira Odd and James from the Juniors who helped all day.
We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce Georgia Baldwin has re-signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.
Georgia was part of Box Hill’s VFLW program this season making her debut in Round 3. Georgia is a competitive beast, fierce at the contest and an all round great team mate. As a developing key defender, Georgia’s mix of physicality, run and ball use off half back provided a lot in her 7 games with us this year before her season ended in injury. Georgia levels up each game she plays, and we can’t wait for more in 2026!
It was two from two as Boronia Juniors won both the Under 14 and Under 16 Boys Grand Finals.Congratulations to the Junior Committee, coaches, volunteers and most importantly the players!
The Under 14’s romped home with a big win to defeat Heathmont by 88 points. BORONIA 20.10.130 d Heathmont 6.6.42.
The Boronia Hawks Football & Netball Club is proud to announce that Matthew Clark has recommitted as our Senior Men’s Coach for the 2026 season!
Since first walking through the doors of Tormore Reserve in 2018, Matt’s leadership has reshaped Boronia into a force, on and off the field. Now entering his 9th season at the helm, with 132 senior games already coached in the brown and gold, Matt’s record speaks for itself:
• Three Premierships: the unforgettable 2018 Triple Crown, followed by back-to-back Division 2 flags in 2023 and 2024, restoring Boronia to Division 1.
• EFNL Men’s Team of the Year Coach: honoured in 2019, 2023, and 2024.
But Matt’s impact goes well beyond wins and trophies. He has built a culture of belief, discipline, and unity that every Hawk player, coach, volunteer, and supporter can be proud of. He has inspired the next generation, reignited our senior program, and cemented Boronia’s reputation as a club on the rise.
2026 will be another exciting chapter in this already legendary story. With Matt leading the way, the Hawks will continue to soar.
