We’re excited to announce that Shane Allsopp will be an U19.5 Assistant Coach for the 2026 season.
Shane played footy at a high level himself at Box Hill in the VFL and is also a senior premiership player at Scoresby. Alongside his role with the U19s, Shane will also be leading our U8s this season.
We’re very lucky to have Shane as part of the program. Keep an eye out for more announcements coming soon!
Congratulations to Harrison Chapman of the Boronia Hawks on his well-deserved selection in the 2026 Victoria Metro summer training squad, which was finalised on January 21, 2026.
This prestigious 26-player squad highlights the top emerging talent in the region. Harry’s inclusion is a significant achievement, adding to his growing list of football accolades. He is also a member of the elite 2026 Marsh AFL National Academy and plays for the Eastern Ranges in the AFL Talent League, underscoring his high potential as a likely top draft prospect.
Here he is receiving his Boronia jumper in 2025 from his father Nathan, a former Hawka himself. Harry’s strong performances have marked him as one of the key players to watch as the 2026 season progresses.
Training for senior men and Under 19.5’s tonight at 6:00pm sharp at Tormore Reserve. You know what to bring: runners, water bottle, determination. #boroniahawks#hawka26
Congratulations to young superstar Charlie Lavender for winning the Division 1 Under 19 Best & Fairest Award tonight at the EFNL Awards night being held at Marvel Stadium.
Chaz had a great season playing 19’s along with a number of Senior games in 2025. We can’t wait to watch him do it all again next season and into the future. Congratulations Chaz!
We’re incredibly proud to announce that Harry Chapman will be taking the field and Darcy Jamieson has been named as an emergency for Eastern Ranges in the Coates Talent League Grand Final!
Eastern Ranges will face off against the Sandringham Dragons on Saturday at 1:00pm at IKON Park in what promises to be a fantastic clash between two quality sides.
Harry, Darcy, Myles, Max and Tahj have all represented The Hawka Family with distinction this season — showing commitment, character, and class in their football. They’ve made significant contributions not only to our club but to the Eastern Ranges program, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they’ve gone about their footy.
Let’s get behind the boys and the Eastern Ranges as they chase premiership glory!
Congratulations to HARRISON CHAPMAN from @boroniahawksfnc who has been selected as one of the 14 Victorian boys named in the 2025 Marsh AFL National Futures squad. The team will play at the MCG as a curtain-raiser before the Toyota AFL Grand Final on Saturday 27 September. Great work Harry!
We’re excited to announce that Harry Chapman has recommitted to the Hawks for 2026!
Harry debuted in our seniors in 2025 and immediately showed he belongs at the top level. He’s impressed with Eastern Ranges, earned selection in the Under-17 Vic Metro team, and continues to turn heads with his skill, composure, and elite running ability. A genuine talent with a limitless future we can’t wait to see where Harry can take his game. Great to have you locked in, Chappy!
Our Under 19s Coaching Group is Locked in again for 2026! We’re thrilled to confirm that Luke Hannon will return as Head Coach, and be joined again by Josh Begley and Jayden Collins as his assistants.
With 8 EFNL premierships between them and experience across AFL, VFL and regional levels, this trio represents the next generation of elite coaching. In 2025 alone, they’ve already developed and mentored 7 current U19 players who’ve gone on to experience senior football — with many more on the verge. The future is bright at the Hawka, and we’re only just getting started.

We’re excited to announce that Jayden Collins has re-signed with the Boronia Hawks for the 2026 season! In 2025, Jayden has stepped up off the field as an Assistant Coach for our Under 19s, showing just how much he cares about the growth of our football club.
On the field, he continues to build a legacy as one of Boronia’s most reliable and versatile performers. 3× Senior Premiership Player – 2018, 2023, 2024; 2021 Bob Henry Medal – Boronia Senior Best & Fairest; Division 2 Team of the Year selection; Most Consistent Player (2019).
Jayden plays the game the right way and always puts the team first. Whether down back, up forward, or around the contest, he is pure class and a difference maker when it counts. We’re thrilled to have him locked in for 2026!
