150 GAMES | SEAN BELL

Congratulations to Sean Bell who runs out for his 150th senior game with the Boronia Hawks, this Sunday at Mitcham in the Preliminary Final against East Burwood.

Sean is a dour defender, who has consistently demonstrated his coolness under pressure, making him an invaluable asset to our team over the years. He possesses a wealth of senior experience in the backline, where he has time and time again proven his mettle against the best opposition forwards and it’s safe to say that he is rarely, if ever, beaten. He thrives in the heart of the action, yet he remains a no-fuss footballer. One of Sean’s standout qualities is his ability to read the play with precision and make sound decisions in the heat of the moment. He is also a great club person who is always willing to help out when asked.

Congratulations Sean, on this great milestone! Here’s to many more games and success in the Brown and Gold!

100 GAMES | LUKE HANNON

Congratulations to Luke Hannon who plays his 100th game of senior football for the Hawka in this weekend’s semi-final.

A former Eastern Ranges premiership player, captain and best and fairest winner, Luke has also had a similar impact at Boronia.

A senior premiership player in 2018, a two time Bob Henry Medalist and current vice captain and assistant coach, his impact has been profound!

Well done Luke and all the very best in your next 100 games for our club!

50 GAMES | TYSON HENRY

Tyson Henry celebrates his 50th game in the brown and gold this Saturday, bringing his EFNL total to over 101 games across two clubs.

A great club person and stylish left footed defender, Tyson has been great for the Hawka over the past couple of seasons and we look forward to him making forwards earn every kick for the foreseeable future.

50 GAMES | STACEY PONTON

Congratulations to Stacey Ponton as she plays her 50th Game for Boronia.

Pont has been one of the most skilled players our Women’s Squad has seen since she started towards the end of our inaugural year. Spending time at both ends of the ground, Pont has spent the majority of the last few seasons at half back.

Her great football IQ, ability to read the play and penetrating kick saw her finish Runner Up in the D Squad Best and Fairest in 2021, before playing mostly Senior football since.

Congratulations Pont!

50 GAMES | CHLOE TIMMS

Chloe joined our Women’s Squad it its inaugural year and has been a valued part of our program ever since. She has continued to develop her skillset as a ruck, while often helping others harness their own skill sets.

She has taken the game on this season after making an epic come back from injury at the start of the season, Proving she is a huge asset to our team.

Chloe has shown her genuine passion for assisting our Under 16 girls teams in their development; investing time and effort to mentor and nurture their skills to help them grow into great footballers.

Congratulations Chloe!
