WEEKEND PREVIEW | April 1-2
Get ready for a huge weekend for the Hawka!
This weekend sees Round 1 kick off for our Senior Men and Development Men vs The Basin at home on Saturday, followed by Vets Men vs Croydon North MLOC on Sunday, also at Tormore.
With the start of the season still a few weeks away our Senior Women and Development Women play their first practice matches against Eastern Devils at Miller Park, followed by the inaugural practice match for our Women’s Masters team vs Mooroolbark!
The Junior Season also kicks off this weekend, so make sure you get around the club and support wherever you can.

The Hawks are looking to play a more consistent brand of footy in 2023 after some great off-season recruiting while the women’s program continues to develop with two senior sides and an over 35 masters team.

2023 Women’s Fixtures
The 2023 Senior Women’s competition is set to kick off on April 22nd. Boronia ‘s top team are in Division 1 and our Development Team will participate in grading games to determine their division.

We’re building our Masters Team!
With our Senior Women’s program going from strength to strength, we will again be fielding a Masters team for the 2025 season.
We’re looking for women 35 and over who are keen to join our squad and play on a fortnightly basis, no previous experience playing footy necessary.
Our friendly and welcoming women’s squad train as one group with seniors, development and masters on Mondays and Wednesdays when the season begins. Details are TBA!

Registration is $25 for all senior players including Vets and Masters – this will ensure your EFNL insurance coverage. Membership fees are payable later.
First Night of Women’s Training for 2023
Get excited! Pre-Season Training recommences for our Senior Women, Under 18 Girls and Women’s Masters Monday & Wednesday Nights at Millers from 6:00pm-7:30pm.
New Senior, Under 18 and Masters players are all welcomed. Come down for a kick and meet our friendly squad. No previous experience is necessary!

Women’s Pre-season Training Kicks Off on Tuesday 22 November!
Pre-season training for our Senior Women, Under 18 Girls and those interested in playing Masters (Over 35s) will run on Tuesday and Thursday nights starting 22nd November, 6pm to 7:30pm, at Boronia Heights Primary School.
Wear your runners and comfortable exercise clothes and don’t forget to bring your drink bottle! Toilet facilities are on site but not changing rooms.
Open to new players and those wanting to come down and have a go to see if it’s for you!
