School Holidays “Come and Try” Day for Girls Footy!

Do you know any 10-13 year old girls interested in giving footy a go? Maybe they already play and want to take their game to a new level?

After the success of the recent Girls School Footy Day (which was enthusiastically supported by our club), we would love to see a whole range of 10-13 year old girls join in our school holiday clinic. It is set to be lots of fun and a chance to develop skills and knowledge about our great game.

Boronia Football Club are holding a Past Players’ Day on 1 July and celebrating a 40 year reunion of their 1977 Triple Premierships – Seniors, Reserves and Under 17s. Congratulations to Ryan Henderson who will play his 100th game for @boroniahawks in Round 6 at Tormore Reserve.  The big hearted follower came to Boronia from Vermont in 2012 and has been a rock solid contributor ever since.  Ryan has taken on the biggest (and ugliest) blokes the opposition can throw at him in the ruck, and loves to slip forward for a big mark and goal.  Well done Hendo, we love your work!
