Congratulations to all of our juniors who enjoyed themselves and played some great footy throughout the year.It was a very successful year on and off the field, with three teams making grand finals and the Under 14 Boys and Under 16 girls winning premierships.
We would like to recognise the club award winners, while remembering that their teammates, coaches and volunteers all contributed to the overall success of the Junior Hawks in 2023.
Congratulations to Rachel Slater for being awarded the Blue Ribbon Medal for her outstanding Best on Ground performance in the Division 1 Grand Final.
Despite a heavy tag, Rachael’s performance proved to be decisive in a tight contest. According to Premier Data she had 24 disposals, 16 contested possessions, 6 marks (inc. 5 intercept marks), 4 clearances, 11 inside 50s, 7 tackles, 1 gamebreaking goal and 163 Ranking Points.

In absolutely huge news, all 4 of our 4 nominated juniors have taken out ENFL Best & Fairest at tonight’s award ceremony. What an amazing achievement for each of these players and all of those who have supported them.

Karen Little and Candyce Wright, both outstanding volunteers for Boronia Hawks, have been nominated as finalists in the Knox Local Champions for Gender Equality Awards 2020/2021.
The award ceremony is on Wednesday 15th December. As the two finalists have been nominated for the work they have done with the Club, we invite other club volunteers, members and supporters to come to the awards ceremony to support them and celebrate their achievements and that of the club.
