We’re incredibly proud to announce that Harry Chapman will be taking the field and Darcy Jamieson has been named as an emergency for Eastern Ranges in the Coates Talent League Grand Final!
Eastern Ranges will face off against the Sandringham Dragons on Saturday at 1:00pm at IKON Park in what promises to be a fantastic clash between two quality sides.
Harry, Darcy, Myles, Max and Tahj have all represented The Hawka Family with distinction this season — showing commitment, character, and class in their football. They’ve made significant contributions not only to our club but to the Eastern Ranges program, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they’ve gone about their footy.
Let’s get behind the boys and the Eastern Ranges as they chase premiership glory!
Go Hawka! Go Ranges!
Please join us in congratulating CAYDEN WOOD, our inaugural Nathan Allen medallist. Cayden convincingly won the U17.5 Best & Fairest award, showcasing exceptional skill and dedication. This prestigious honour marks Cayden’s fifth Best & Fairest award in six remarkable seasons of competitive football, including a notable runner-up finish in 2019. We have high expectations for the future accomplishments of this outstanding young player.
Club great, Jess Bolton has made the difficult decision to step down as our Development Coach for the 2026 football season.
Jess, who coached his team into a preliminary final only last week, will leave a significant hole to be filled by the club. As a playing coach, which is always a challenging role, Jess supported, guided, and improved our development players during his two-year tenure.
BHFNC sincerely thanks Jess for his efforts over the past two seasons, and we know it’s not goodbye, as another chapter in the BHFNC relationship with Jess will evolve as we never let great people like Jess just disappear.
The good news is that Jess will continue to play in the brown and gold and will continue to bring strong game sense and enormous experience to emerging players as a 200+ game player and dual Bob Henry Medallist.
We had 120 guests at the Knox Club last night to celebrate our U17.5 Boys and U18 Girls.
The evening was a resounding success, and we thank Scott Nicholas for his outstanding work as MC; the senior women’s and men’s representatives for attending as special guests and welcoming these junior players into the senior club. Also, our sincere appreciation goes to Nathan Allen, who awarded his first namesake medal. Award winners will be announced shortly. Congratulations to all involved
The club extends its warmest congratulations to Kellie Newton, recipient of the esteemed Mick Spencer Award, presented at the junior presentation on Friday evening.
As our current Junior Secretary, Kellie is a versatile and dedicated contributor, consistently demonstrating innovation, professionalism, leadership and commitment. We appreciate her invaluable contributions and tireless efforts to keep improving our club!
