Round 6 Boronia v The Basin
Calling our @boroniahawks supporters! Four big games today just up the road at The Basin. Grab the gang and come along to help celebrate the 200th game for the legendary Crackers Heenan!
200th Game for Matt “Crackers” Heenan
Congratulations to one of the stalwarts of Boronia Football Club, Matt Heenan, as he plays his 200th game for the club in Round 6. Crackers has been a reliable, no-frills player for many years and established himself as a seniors regular and one of the club favourites. He did the dreaded knee a few years ago which has caused an interrupted path to his milestone game, but the club was rapt when he made yet another comeback this year. Why the comeback Crackers? “I was just bored mate”.
Congratulations Crackers – let’s hope you play a blinder, with many more to come!
