PLAYER SPONSORSHIPS | GOLDSACK – KIMMITT – NOTLEY

Boronia Hawks are incredibly proud to announce that former Senior President Tim Currie and Dyson Currie Pty Ltd are back as Gold Sponsors for the 2026 season!

This year, Tim is throwing his generous support behind a trio:

  • ? Harrison Kimmitt – exciting new recruit from an outstanding club family;
  • ? Michael Goldsack – the famous face of Hawka Lotto and ex Under 19 Captain;
  • ? Kyle Notley – a Club stalwart from Juniors through to Seniors #sonofbilly.

A family-owned and operated company, Dyson Currie is a leader in timber wholesaling. From custom-machined flooring to dressed hardwood and primed pine, they bring the same precision to their craft that our boys bring to the field.

Thank you, Tim, for your longstanding dedication to the Brown & Gold!

GOLD SPONSOR | DYSON CURRIE TIMBER WHOLESALERS

The Dyson Currie team is proud to once again support the Boronia Hawks Football Netball Club, and we sincerely thank Tim Currie for their continued sponsorship.

Dyson Currie is a family-owned and operated timber wholesale business based in Mordialloc, with a long-standing reputation for quality and innovation.

Originally specialising in precision component docking for furniture manufacturers—an industry-first at the time—the company built a strong foundation in craftsmanship and reliability.

After more than 40 years in the timber industry, founders Ross and Bronwyn Currie passed the business on to the next generation, with Tim Currie and Peta Currie taking over in 2004.

Since then, the company has expanded significantly, introducing a wider range of products and services while maintaining the high standards customers have come to expect.

Today, Dyson Currie’s offerings span all aspects of timber usage, with a strong focus on supplying timber merchants. Their range includes timber flooring across all species, dressed hardwood boards, architraves and jambs, primed finger-jointed pine, pine boards, flooring, and linings—all made to order as well as in bulk quantities. Importantly, they continue to operate their original docking and machining facility, preserving the craftsmanship at the heart of the business.

As the company continues to grow under Tim and Peta’s leadership, Dyson Currie remains committed to excellence, with a clear goal of being market leaders in both service and quality.

New Match Day Manager for 2022

BHFNC sincerely thanks Tim Currie for his tenure as our Match Day Manager for the senior men’s games. Tim oversaw the important role of ensuring all match day activities went off without a hitch. Tim did this with his usual calmness and made sure all volunteers felt valued and appreciated.

Taking over from Tim will be Jason Davis. Jason’s transition into this role is almost natural as his support of Tim has been nothing short of outstanding over the past 3 years.

Tim will not be missing from our club as he is insistent that he will still be actively involved and for that we are most thankful as there aren’t too many better blokes at our club than Timmy!!! Good luck Jason and thank you so much Timmy!!!

Greg Hannon, Senior President
