CONGRATULATIONS! DEBUTANTS FOR THE PREMIER DIVISION HAWKS!

We couldn’t be prouder than to welcome so many new players and their families to our Women’s Football Program for 2026. (A few more to come too!)

Congratulations to Abbey Broughan, Ella Dempster, Jemima Fulton, Georgie Kavanagh, Indi Makai, Maddy Stark, Sophie Stark, Zoe Lynch, Charity Poe and Zoe Wright! Very best wishes to all these new players as they hit the ground in the brown and gold on Saturday in Round 1. We hope you love it!

JUNIORS TO SENIORS | DEBUTS

Boronia Hawks Football Netball Club is excited to announce the senior debut of CAYDEN WOOD. A true one-club player, Cayden has played over 130 junior games in the brown and gold and has put together one of the most decorated junior careers seen at the Hawks. His achievements include 3× EFNL League Best & Fairest awards (2021–2023) and an incredible 5× Boronia Club Best & Fairest, along with representative honours at EFNL Interleague and is currently a member of the Eastern Ranges.

A well deserved opportunity and with the Wood name back out at Tormore, make sure you get down early to watch Woody (try not to) get too emotional pre-game.

We’re also very proud to celebrate five young guns making their Senior debuts — Emily, Charity, Jasmine, Maddie, and Shayla.

All five girls have graduated through our Junior Pathway program, and now take the next step pulling on the senior jumper. A fantastic achievement and a great sign for the future of the Boronia Hawks.

Congratulations girls — enjoy the moment and we can’t wait to see you out there!

2026 WINTER NETBALL SQUADS

FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTY WITH A PURPOSE

Since around 2014, the Boronia Hawks FNC and our great rivals up the road, the Basin Bears, have proudly battled it out for the Headspace Community Cup — all in support of raising awareness for mental health.

Last year, the Senior Women’s teams battled it out and prior to that the Seniors Men’s teams did for many years.

This year, it’s the turn of our ageing Men’s Vets teams who took centre stage under lights at Batterham Reserve on Friday 17th April at 7:30pm. Plenty of passion, a bit of friendly rivalry, and a whole lot of heart as they played for bragging rights and a great cause.

Headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, supporting young people aged 12–25 with early intervention mental health services. It’s an important reminder that no one has to go it alone.

So get down to Batterham Reserve, bring your mates, and support the old boys in what promises to be a fantastic night of footy for an even better cause.
