On Tuesday night our Under 14 Boys were surprised by Hawthorn triple Premiership player & this years’ Number 1 Ticket Holder, Liam Shiels!! Liam took the boys’ training session, answered questions and signed some autographs.
Many thanks to Liam who has always been willing to make time to support the Boronia Hawks juniors.
Fun Fact: Liam Shiels transferred to play with Boronia in Under 18’s but spent all year with Eastern Ranges before being selected by Hawthorn at pick 8 in the 2008 National Draft. We still hope to get him back one day for a kick with the Hawka!
Please join us in congratulating our six captains for 2022: Harry Burgess, Bree Watson, Ali Gottliebsen, Alisha Clark, Nathan Allen and Erin Nicholas.
They are joined by two groups of team leaders. The overall leadership group demonstrates the outstanding young people that we have at Boronia Hawks.
