After making his senior debut in 2025, Charlie has quickly earned the respect of the entire group with his outstanding work ethic and determination. A promising young talent with a big future, he’s one to watch as he continues to develop in the brown and gold.

We’re excited to confirm that Jake Godwin has re-signed with the Boronia Hawks for the 2026 season!
Jake is a versatile and respected leader, capable of impacting games at both ends of the ground but above all, he’s someone who always puts the club first.
A Senior Premiership Player in 2018, Jake then moved north spending a few years in QLD. He featured in the 2024 QAFL Grand Final with Morningside, kicking three goals in a premiership win. He returned home to Boronia in 2025 and hasn’t missed a beat.
His return has been critical as the group adjusted to the demands of Division 1. Whether he’s locking down defenders, pushing forward, or mentoring younger players, Jake does it all with humility, heart, and team-first commitment. Not many come more loyal or genuine than Jake Godwin. We’re wrapt to have him back in the brown and gold for 2026!

Ben has kicked 50+ goals in multiple seasons and remains one of the most dangerous and consistent forwards in the comp. But more than that, he’s a foundation of what makes this club special. His loyalty, passion, and team-first attitude have been instrumental in building the culture that’s delivered three premierships in six years. We’re pumped to have Robbo locked in for 2026. We’re pumped to announce that Jordan Church has re-signed with the Boronia Hawks for the 2026 season!
Still eligible for Under 19s, Jordan has made a seamless transition into Division 1 footy in his first year at the club and already looks right at home. Whether playing across half-back or through the midfield, his composure, toughness, and footy IQ have stood out all season long. With maturity well beyond his years, Jordan is a key part of our exciting next generation. He’s already a senior Best & Fairest winner at FTG, and in 2025 he’s shown he belongs at Division 1 level with the Hawks.
Jordan carries one of the great Boronia names. He’s the son of Russell Church a 2000 senior premiership player and 2002 Bob Henry Medallist and the nephew of club favourite Rod “Rocket” Church.

What he put his body through just to get up for last year’s Grand Final was unmatched and not only did he get there, he was one of the best players on the ground. Our Under 19s Coaching Group is Locked in again for 2026! We’re thrilled to confirm that Luke Hannon will return as Head Coach, and be joined again by Josh Begley and Jayden Collins as his assistants.
With 8 EFNL premierships between them and experience across AFL, VFL and regional levels, this trio represents the next generation of elite coaching. In 2025 alone, they’ve already developed and mentored 7 current U19 players who’ve gone on to experience senior football — with many more on the verge. The future is bright at the Hawka, and we’re only just getting started.

On the field, he continues to build a legacy as one of Boronia’s most reliable and versatile performers. 3× Senior Premiership Player – 2018, 2023, 2024; 2021 Bob Henry Medal – Boronia Senior Best & Fairest; Division 2 Team of the Year selection; Most Consistent Player (2019).
