BORONIA HAWKS FOOTBALL NETBALL CLUB INC.
Senior Men's & Women's Football and Netball, Junior Boys & Girls Football, Auskick and over 35's Veterans and Masters Football. Affiliated with EFNL. We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land in Boronia.
As a result of Identifying the need to prevent overworked and burnt-out committee members and volunteers, the Boronia Football Club would like to introduce the New Direction 2017.
The structure of the board will now take shape of a directorship where the President will be the Chairman. There will be five other directors i.e. Administration (Secretary), Finance (Treasurer), Football Operations, Community Engagement and Social. Each of the directors will hold portfolios with attached managers. These managers will report to the directors monthly who in turn will report on their portfolios at a directors meeting.
There will be no need for the managers to attend directors meetings unless it is a special circumstance. The number of managers and people assisting the director in a specific portfolio is unlimited. We hope to have many volunteers taking up small roles rather than a small amount taking up numerous roles. A lot of EFL clubs are adopting this structure and we hope at BFC that it will be successful and able us to move the club forward from 2017.
Portfolios will appear on the Website shortly and as Managers are appointed they will be announced on the BFC website.
