We’re thrilled to announce that Bree Watson has re-signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.
Bree has been an integral part of our squad since she first started. Our 2023 Premiership Captain is best known for her work in the backline, reading the play and setting up defence. Playing as almost an extra coach on field, Bree continued her development as a coach last pre-season before stepping away to welcome Charlie into the world. Bree is a outstanding leader, and squad member and we can’t wait to see her back in brown and gold next year!
We couldn’t be more excited to announce Mackenzie Suppa has re-signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.
Undoubtedly one of the most talented players in the squad, Mack levelled up this season, becoming one of our most impactful defenders. Mack debuted in the Senior team in Round 8, and continued to build to the end of the season. Elite in 1 on 1 situations, tough and hard at the contest, Mack reads the ball well to intercept and set up play from defence. We’re excited for Mack to continue to develop in brown and gold next year.
We couldn’t be more excited to announce Klara Vickov has re-signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.
Klara had an incredible season this year, when in her first year of football, she played 12 senior games playing mostly on the wing. Klara is incredibly skilled and used her kicking as a weapon to find targets through the corridor or set up our forwards. Highlighting her impact, Klara also finished the season with 7 goals, and spent time in the midfield late in the season. Klara is an ultimate professional, highly analytical, exemplary squad member and just scratching the surface.
We are thrilled to announce Lily-Grace Murrell has re-signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.
Coming off a serious ankle injury which impacted her pre-season, Lily was able to continue to develop and went from strength to strength as the season went on. Starting the season at half-forward before spending time in the middle and finishing the year at half back, Lily’s combination of strength, power and explosiveness impacts the game all over the park. Lily is a fierce competitor and a genuine and caring team-mate and we couldn’t be more excited to watch her take her game to another level in brown and gold next season.
We couldn’t be more excited to announce Emily Wellington has re-signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.
Em has continued to build her game since joining Boronia in 2024, developing her craft in defence, up forward and across the middle. A versatile player in a number of ways, Em is at her best reading the play, winning a hard ball, and using her long penetrating kick to set up attack. Em has become a huge part of our squad in a short time and we look forward to seeing her take her game to another level in brown and gold next season.
We couldn’t be more excited to announce Jenna Basse has re-signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.
Jenna has made a huge impact in her two seasons with the club both on and off the field. On field she is one of our most dynamic and skilled forwards, known for big marks and iconic left foot snaps. Since joining us, Jenna has gone at a little over a goal and game, with her 15 goals in 2025 placing her in the top ten goalkickers in Premier Division. We’re excited for plenty more from Jenna in brown and gold next season.
We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that Crystal Chinn has re-signed for the 2026 season.
Chinny has been one of our most consistent squad members and continues to find ways to develop her game. Chinny split her time across both teams this season and was amongst our most impactful players in the Development side this year. The 2023 premiership player brought up her 50th club game this season, and we can’t wait to see Chinny add to this tally in 2026!
We couldn’t be more excited to announce that Shae Denny has re-signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.
Shae joined us this year and had an immediate impact on and off the field. Rarely loses 1 on 1, and one of the most impactful defenders in Premier Division, Shae is at her best intercepting play across half back. A positive, encouraging and determined squad member we can’t wait for a big 2026 season from Shae in brown and gold!
We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce Georgia Baldwin has re-signed with Boronia for the 2026 season.
Georgia was part of Box Hill’s VFLW program this season making her debut in Round 3. Georgia is a competitive beast, fierce at the contest and an all round great team mate. As a developing key defender, Georgia’s mix of physicality, run and ball use off half back provided a lot in her 7 games with us this year before her season ended in injury. Georgia levels up each game she plays, and we can’t wait for more in 2026!
