Six from Six for BoroniaFC Netball – presented by Busybodies
Two weeks, six games, six wins. Boronia’s netballers are on track for the finals after clean sheets in rounds 11 and 12 of the Netball EFL season.
In Round 12, it was a great win in Premier Division with Boronia Hawks defeating nemesis Eastern Lions Yellow by 62 to 50 to retain top spot. Boronia Gold notched up the second netball win for the weekend with a 16 goal victory over Norwood Black. Gold are 2nd on the ladder and looking good for the finals. Boronia Brown have surged up the ladder to 3rd after a thumping win over Forest Hill Green by 34 goals. Finals are now a real chance for the girls!

Round 14 of 2016 can be rated as one of our best wins over a top side in many years. It was a fantastic team effort by Peter Brown, Drew O’Hare and 22 hardworking players.
A special mention goes to Matt Leeson who made a fine contribution to celebrate a memorable win in his first senior game for the club!
3 GOOD WINS – BoroniaFC Netball Round Up presented by BusyBodies Health and Fitness
3 wins last night for our BoroniaFC Netballers as they resumed after the mid-season break.
Boronia Gold are in top spot in Premier Division – brilliant work by the girls! They beat Knox Red last night by 17 points with Melissa Martinov retaining top spot in the divisional goal shooters table with another 34 goals. Don’t forget Sharmini Philip in 2nd spot on the table who backed up with 20 goals.
Boronia Hawks won last night by 4 points over Montrose Demons, and are sitting 2nd on the ladder. 32 goals to Kylie Miller – 240 for the season!
In Division 4 the girls from Boronia Brown crushed Ringwood Black 39 to 18 with Sarah Parsons on target with 34 goals. The Brownies are now 6-4 for the season and ready to challenge for their first finals series.

All Boronia Football Club and Boronia Junior Football Club sponsors, members, supporters, family and friends are cordially invited to join us for lunch on Saturday 6 August for the Heritage Round match against long time rivals Scoresby.
200 Draw
It was a huge night at the @boroniahawks 200 Draw with a packed house enjoying the tension of the draw, offset by light refreshments.
Congratulations to the big winner, Scott Nicholas, who snagged a BOG in the 2’s and then walked away a few hours later with the big prize of $4,999! Lucky number 20!
