PLAYER SPONSORSHIPS | MADDY & SOPHIE STARK

We are absolutely thrilled to announce a brand-new partnership for the 2026 season! A massive thank you to Jake Edwards and the Moondani Toombadool Centre for jumping on board as player sponsors for sisters Maddy and Sophie Stark!

The Moondani Toombadool Centre, established in 2018 at Swinburne, is a transformational leader grounded in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges. In the Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri People, Moondani Toombadool means ‘embracing teaching and learning’—a sentiment that we are proud to carry on our journey this year.

Maddy is coming off an absolute blinder of a 2025 season! She’s proven herself as one of the rising stars in the league, recently earning: EFNL Team of the Year honors; Club Best & Fairest; Division 3 Leading Goal Kicker. “Starky” has slotted 64 goals over the last three seasons. We can’t wait to see what she and Sophie achieve with this incredible support behind them!

Join us in thanking Jake Edwards and the Moondani Toombadool Centre.

NEW RECRUIT: THE CYBORG HAS ARRIVED!

We are pleased to welcome Tom Borg to the Boronia Hawks!

Tom joins us from Upper Ferntree Gully, where he enjoyed some good footy, climbing from Under 19s through to the Reserves before making his senior debut in 2021. A St Joseph’s alum and a good mate of Luke Flanagan and Max Brasher, Tom is already right at home at Tormore. Known for a big work ethic and the nickname “Cyborg,” we can’t wait to see the machine in action for the brown and gold.
