A great start to the season by the 19’s and seniors both posting convincing wins. It was great to see the new boys in Luke ‘Funk’ Scanlan and Cam Jacko slotting straight into the Hawka way of life and booting 9 goals between them.
The ressie’s narrowly went down but with a new coach and heaps of new faces they will definitely be on the winners list sooner rather than later.
The Boronia Hawks Netball is up and running with 2 sides being submitted. Thanks to Kellie’s and Bec’s hard work. See our Facebook post (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=618829878196488&set=a.266503320095814.63643.126542240758590&type=1&theater) for the fixture for the first few games.. They will play at Eastern Indoor on Friday Nights. Anyone interested in playing please contact kellie.newton@gmail.com (mailto:kellie.newton@gmail.com) .

This week we take on Heathmont at H.E. Parker Reserve (https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/HE+Parker+Reserve+Tennis+Club/@-37.836047,145.253538,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x6ad63b95fe2a4475:0x45bd56be9c08e98d) . They have recruited quite well so we will have our work cut out again. See you all there and go Hawka!
