Seniors: What a turnaround by the boys this week beating South Belgrave by 64 points. Best players were Lakeshow, Andy Phillips & Harry Burgess. Coops and Bolts both kicked 3 and Mark Jackson 2.
The Ressie’s: In what was one of the most exciting finishes to a game I have seen, the guys ran out 3 point winners with Lachie Mac kicking a goal off the ground just before the siren sounded. Snico kicked 2 goals and the best players were Belly, Hamma, Jordy Veness & Leeso
Colts: The colts had an impressive 112 point win. Barclay was dominant up forward kicking 6 goals with Stama and Redders each getting 3. Best players were Granland, Stamatakos & Barclay. They take on Silvan at home this week.
Vets: The vets had a week off and play Wantirna South away this Sunday
Netballers
Boronia Gold
Last Friday’s game was a good solid win by 20+, game was pretty much in control from the qtr time break which gave us a chance to change some new/fill in players to see how they play in other positions. Rock solid defence and good shooting display. Top 3 players for game Hayley, Kel and Jess
Boronia Brown
The Boronia Brown girls ended up losing a close one by 2 goals despite a big last quarter.
This week the Seniors take on Whitehorse away and a win might see us sneak into the top 5 . See you all there and go Hawka!
