There has been some discussion over the past two days regarding access for our volunteers to the Club’s social media platforms. On behalf of the Club’s Board I would like to let all supporters know that it was agreed at our Board meeting in September that we will review and change our approach to Social Media as we head in to 2020.
There will be more news on this as our new Board and Committee members settle in to their roles over the next two months. The main objective is that the Club is fully compliant with best practice for the use of social media by community clubs. This is consistent with the Club’s Social Media Policy, which is available for your reference on our website.
A key component of our policy is that all volunteers publishing on behalf of the Club have undertaken appropriate training so that they fully understand our policy and our reasonable expectations in respect of social media posts by club members and supporters.
