My Footy Rewards Competition

My Footy Rewards

Boronia Hawks have registered for the CUB My Footy Rewards Program. If you buy the odd slab here or there why not register yourself and nominate Boronia as your local club. You could win great prizes for yourself and the club.

HOW YOU COULD BE A WINNER

1. Sign up
Sign yourself up by completing the required fields and agreeing to the terms and conditions. While you’re at it, nominate your local club too. Then, every time you redeem a code, your local club benefits from an automatic entry into the separate club monthly prize pool*. And if you’re a local club manager, make sure your members are selecting your club from the pre-populated list to ensure that every redemption they make counts.

2. Buy some beer (or cider)
When you head to the bottle shop look for one of five beer brands with a specially marked ‘My Footy Rewards’ logo.
Participating brands are VB, Carlton Draught, Carlton Mid, Carlton Dry and Strongbow (because cider drinkers deserve footy rewards too).
If you’re buying from BWS, look at the bottom of your receipt for a Bonus Buy Code for access to a separate prize pool again.
And for all you pub-goers, don’t worry, there’s something for you too.
3. Log in for hundreds of thousands of prizes
There are so many prizes on offer over the season, we’ve had to split them by prize type.

Tickets – Up to 100,000 AFL and 50,000 NRL tickets are available across the whole season and all states and territories*. You can access these with any carton code and find out if you’ve won instantly.

Instant Rewards – Ranging from caps to stubby-coolers to $25-off vouchers, exchanging a carton code for a Reward Point guarantees you access to these instant rewards.

Experiences – You could win a range of awesome once-in-a-lifetime experiences. All you need is your carton code for an entry into the draw*.

** HAWKERTALK ROUND 6 VS HEATHMONT
————————————————————
Round 6
Seniors: The seniors lost to Heathmont by 19 points in a very low scoring game. Pato was the only multiple goalkicker with 2. Best players were Bolts, Harry Burgess & Wato.
Reserves: The development team had a very good 25 point win with several colts playing in the side. Redders and Kieran Phillips both kicked 3 goals and the best players were Corey Burgess, Zac, Beggsy, Collo, Macca and Jacob Farrell
Colts: The colts had a bye
Vets: The old fellas lost to Scoresby at Chandler Park by 25 points. They are now 1-2 and need a big couple of weeks on the track so they are ready for Wantirna South in round 4. Best players were Naffa and Rocket Junior while Macey kicked 2 goals.
Netballers
Boronia Gold: Friday’s game against East Ringwood was a great win for us to square the ledger at 2-2 which is very different from our start last year. We have had a rough start to our premiership defence with a number of player changes, players being sick and finding permanent players so it’s a credit to all the ladies that are getting put in different positions to find our best line ups. The game itself was a scrappy game only having 7 players with 1 sick on the bench incase of injury. But even with all the position changes the girls had a comfortable win by about 12 goals. Best players Hayley, Casey, Jess

Boronia Brown: Looking to bounce back after 2 straight loses we found ourselves with a full team to choose from for the first time this year. Coming up against a much unknown East Ringwood we bounced out of the blocks with our best quarter of netball piling on 14 goals to 4. The message at quarter time was to build on our lead with East Ringwood lifting the intensity, as did we extending our lead to 15 at the half. A few changes at the half saw a slow start to the 3rd quarter but we managed extend our lead to 18 at the final change. Again with a few changes and a goal of winning by over 20 goals, we walked away with a 44-22 win and our best performance of the year. A great even team performance with everyone playing their part. A best on court to Naomi Trent having an outstanding game in defense. A big game this week up against the second place Coldstream @ Rowville Sports Academy at 7.55pm.

BORONIA BROWN
Coming into round 3 we still are yet to have our full team with another 2 changes to this weeks side. Starting slowly against a physical Mooroolbark side found ourselves within 4 goals at quarter time. A scrappy 2nd and 3rd quarters having plenty of opportunities but just not converting we found ourselves 22 goals down at the final break. Making a few changes at 3/4 time and keeping our heads high we fought out the game well going down by 28 goals. Best players on the night were Elly McQuinn and Alex McKaige. Looking to bounce back with a win this week to bring our season back on track.
