Round 15
Seniors: They guys had a tough day at the office losing by 69 points. Josh Allison continued his best year with another BOG while Nath Allen and Lukey Leeson also played well. Goal kickers were Buz, Zac, Josh and Jarrod Chundaford.
The Ressie’s: The fellas tried hard but were again easily beaten by 67 points. Hopefully a few players come back from injury this week to strengthen the side. Ruffy was BOG for the second week in a row and Decca’s & Carro played their roles. Pato was the goalkicker.
Colts: the colts bounced back after last weeks defeat to win by 27 points
Best players for consecutive weeks were Darsa, Murra & Wadey.
Vets: The vets lost to the top team Eltham by 22 points. I have no another info for you because the coach doesn’t return emails or text messages.
Netballers

Boronia Gold: went down to top of the ladder & undefeated Eastern Lions by only 8 goals. A few basic errors and loose balls are what let us down. It was a great competitive game & all girls fought until the end.
Best players, Peta, Kellie, Jess, Casey

Boronia Brown: Coming up against the 3rd place at Coldstream and a win needed to keep our final hope alive the girls came out strong but struggling to put the dominance on the scoreboard. A 14 goal to 2 second quarter found us on the back foot trailing by 12 goals at half time. The 3rd term continued with Coldstream’s dominance taking the lead to 15 at the final chance. With a few positional changed in the last quarter the girls ran out the game well with a 9 goal to 6 final term finding ourselves going down 33-21. Best player on the night was a stand out performance from Steph McQuinn at both the attacking and defensive end. With 2 games to go and results needing to our way finals are not out of the question.

Round 14
Seniors: The boys were off to a flyer kicking 4 goals in the first 15mins but unfortunately didn’t kick another goal until half way through the last and ended up losing by 7 points. Best player were Harry Burgess, Walshy & L.Mc. Josh Allison kicked 2 goals.
Ressie’s: The fellas tried hard but with 10 players out of last weeks side they were easily beaten by 61 points. Best players were Ruffy, Lachie MacDonald & Larso.
Colts: The inaccurate colts suffered just their 2^nd lose of the season by 15 points.
Best players were Darsa, Murra & Seagrave. Game snagged 2 goals
Vets The vets had the week off and play top team Eltham this Sunday at Tormore.
Netballers
Boronia Gold: The girls lost by 29 against Norwood Black and have another tough game this week against top team Eastern Lions.
Boronia Brown:The browns lost 4^th position to East Ringwood White losing by 8. They play Coldstream Black this week.
Good luck to both teams.

Round 13
Seniors: In a tight low scoring contest the game ended in a draw. Hammer was fantastic in his BOG performance with Matt Jackson and L Mckernan also in the best. Cam Jackson kicked 3 goals.
The Ressie’s: The boys led all game and ran out winners by 50 points. Nath Allen kicked 4 first half goals and was BOG with Snico supporting him with 3 goals. Other best players were Dayne “I steal kids footy’s” Ruff and Larso.
Colts: The colts had a 30 point win. Zmood kicked 3 and Barclay 2. Best players were Darsa, Granland & Seagrave. Granland and Neves then went and played 4 quarters in the Reserves. Well done boys!
Vets: The vets were outgunned by 68 points in perfect footy weather (Wet & Nasty). Point kickers were Whits and Flip.Best players were Whits, Gucci & Deane Rule.

Netballers
Boronia Gold:Girls got off to a much better start than the last couple of weeks leading Croydon at the first break after scoring the last 4 goals of the qtr. unfortunately for us it was a bit of a slog after that. Although there was much improvement on previous weeks, we still threw too many passes away and missed some shots we would normally make. But in saying that, the girls fought well and stopped it from being a blowout in the last qtr rallying back from 15 goals down to go down by 9.

Boronia Brown: The girls played ladder leader Mooroolbark and were with them most of the way until the last qtr losing by 9. Next week they play East Ringwood White for a top 4 spot.
